Old time horse-drawn Christmas parade Nov.25
Old time horse-drawn Christmas parade Nov.25
More than 40 horse-drawn wagons decorated for Christmas parade through the streets of Hamilton the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This beloved tradition, now in its 24th year, begins at 6 p.m. Teams of horses arrive from near and far for the parade, which starts at Hamilton High School.
The parade then makes its way down Wayne Street to the four-way stop, around Brookside Park and heads back to the town hall. Kids can then meet Santa at the hall following the parade. Most of the parade participants throw candy out to the kids so don’t forget a bag. Parking is available along the parade route as well as on side streets.
