A conglomeration of architectural styles, the Old Steuben County Jail is also included in the National Register. It's now home to the Steuben County Tourism Bureau. The brick and concrete structure, completed in 1877, cost $21,144 to build and houses the jail, sheriff's residence and office.
The old cells are still in the jail. Visitors are welcome to tour the jail Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The old jail is located at 207 S. Wayne St., Angola, one block south of the public square.
