Ski at Pokagon State Park
Pokagon’s trails are open, weather permitting. You don’t have to worry about bringing your own equipment. Visitors may rent equipment at the Civilian Conservations Corps shelter near the main beach when snow conditions are favorable. Rentals are available Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ski rental is $8 per hour per set for adults and $5 per set per hour for youth 15 and under. Group rental rates for groups of eight or more are $5 per hour per set. A driver’s license is required for a deposit.
If you have your own equipment, you may ski anytime, but must be off the park’s trails 30 minutes before sunset. There are beginner, moderate and rugged trails for all skill levels. For more information or to check snow conditions, call (260) 833-2012 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
